OWAY PLANT & MINERAL REFRESH

• Biodynamic Mint is stringent and purifying, it lightens and refreshes roots, helping them to purify themselves from excess sebum. It stimulates the growth of healthy hair. With antiseptic properties, it fights scalp itching.
• Cassava and Rice Starch are starches of different and balanced molecular weight that absorb greasiness and give lightness to hair. With soothing properties, they also provide comfort to the scalp. Rich in protein, they strenghten the hair stem.
• Organic Orange gives shine and energy. With sebum-regulating properties, orange is recommended for oil-prone hair.
• Pumice Stone is a lava stone powder that works synergically with starches, completing their sebum-absorbing action. It remineralises and energises the hair fibre.
• Zeolite is also known as the “body scavenger” due to its purifying and detoxifying properties, zeolite absorbs toxins and chemical products, trapping them within its crystalline structure and removing them from the body. A scalp ally, it relieves scalp irritation and fights free radicals.
• Ethical Amazonian Pink Clay is obtained from mixing red and white clay, it has skin-purifying and softening properties. It works directly on the scalp and regulates sebum production.

• Biodynamic Rosemary Distillate is stimulating: promotes blood circulation in the scalp, improving the health and growth of hair. Anti-oxidant: protects the scalp from ageing. Inhibits the oxidation on surface lipids. Protective: the Rosemary distillate protects the hair from environmental stress (smog, pollution, sun) and from chemical treatments.
• Fair Trade Arazà Extract is from Central America, nourishing and rich in antioxidant Vitamin C. A very high-quality natural ingredient, manually processed by the local population.
• Biodynamic Centifolia Rose Distillate is moisturising: keeps the water for jellification; in adverse climatic conditions, it constitutes a shield that impedes dehydration processes. Vitamin-nourishing and anti-ageing: rich in vitamin C and tannins, it has a revitalising action and counteracts scalp and hair ageing. Micro-stimulating: stimulates blood circulation, providing vitality.

+ How to use

1. Pour 3-6 wooden spoonfuls of Herbs & Clay Peeling Cleanser (depending on the amount of hair) into the wooden bowl and gradually add a small amount of hot water until it turns to a paste.
2. Mix the compound with the Bamboo Blender working it until it is perfectly blended.
3. Add 10 drops of Strengthening Blend or Relaxing Blend or Antioxidant Blend, according to the type of hair and the desired treatment. Following the Lunar Calendar, the effectiveness of the treatment will increase.
4. After you have correctly gowned your client, prep their hair by giving a gentle but thorough brush through, then walk over to the basin area where the treatment will be performed.
5. Once seated, place a towel across the front of your guest creating a feeling of comfort and security. Dampen your guests hair with warm water. Place a towel or small soft cushion under your clients neck for support & comfort.
6. Apply the Herbs & Clay Peeling Cleanser onto the damp hair and scalp. With firm but gentle short movements, massage the treatment on the scalp and through the lengths for 5 mins.
7. Rinse throughly with warm water, making sure all treatment is removed. Re-insert your neck cushion and apply a hair conditioner or mask to suit the guests needs.
8. Apply an eye cover (small folded towel or eye mask cover) and spray Flowerfall above your guest face allowing a mist to fall and create a relaxing aromatherapy experience. As the scalp has been freshly exfoliated we suggest a mid-strength pressure point massage around the guests hair line and base of their neck for 3-5 mins so as not to over stimulate the scalp in any way.
9. Rinse & apply your prep and/or styling product, dry and style as usual.
